“The Backyardigans: Operation Elephant Drop” DVD Review

On July 13th, Nickelodeon and Paramount Home Entertainment released “The Backyardigans: Operation Elephant Drop” on DVD. My boys love The Backyardigans and I have to admit that I actually don’t mind watching it with them. I even find myself singing along most of the time. The stories and characters are adorable and the songs are fun to listen to and sing along with. You can find the DVD in stores and online, retailing for $16.99.

In “The Backyardigans: Operation Elephant Drop,” your kids will enjoy watching delivery agents Pablo and Tyrone as they try to bring an elephant to a wildlife sanctuary in India. The DVD features four new to DVD episodes, introducing preschoolers to the music genres of Alternative Rock, Forro, Bo Diddley-Style Rock and American Country Rock.

In every episode of The Backyardigans, five high-spirited neighbors meet in their adjoining backyards and use their imaginations to transform themselves into different locations for epic adventures. Each half-hour episode of this Emmy® Award-winning show features a unique music/dance genre with four original songs, along with real choreographed movements recreated in animation. The Backyardigans are at it again with an all NEW DVD! My kids absolutely love the Backyardigans . Even I do! When this DVD arrived both my kids & I sat down and watched it together. The fun songs and bright friendly characters make them easily enjoyable!

1. John - 1 star - I was extremely disappointed with my experience at the Magic Event Center. The staff was rude and unhelpful, and the venue itself was run-down and dirty. The event I attended was disorganized, with long wait times and a lack of seating. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

2. Sarah - 2 stars - I had high hopes for the Magic Event Center, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. The atmosphere was dull and lacked any sort of excitement. The food options were extremely limited and overpriced. The entertainment provided was lackluster and not worth the ticket price. I was truly disappointed and will not be returning.

3. Mike - 1 star - The Magic Event Center was a complete waste of time and money. The show I attended was poorly executed, with low-quality tricks and unenthusiastic performers. The venue itself was cramped and uncomfortable, with limited seating and poor ventilation. The staff seemed disinterested and unprofessional. Save yourself the disappointment and look for a different entertainment option.
