▪️PURPOSE: the purpose behind this post is to extensively test the competency of a mascara formulation. I consider a successful makeup look to endure (at minimum) eight full-hours of wear without adversity. I push the mascara to its limits, and examine it on several different conditions.

1. Emily - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with the Mac Magic Extension 5mm Fiber Mascara. Despite the claims of volumizing and lengthening, I found the formula to be clumpy and flaky. It didn't coat my lashes evenly and made them look spidery. I also had issues with smudging throughout the day. Overall, I was not impressed and would not recommend this mascara.
2. Sarah - 1 star - I have tried many mascaras in my life, but the Mac Magic Extension 5mm Fiber Mascara was by far the worst. The wand was too big and clumsy, making it difficult to apply the product without getting it all over my eyelids. The formula itself was very dry and didn't give any volume or length to my lashes. Within an hour, it started to flake off and I ended up with raccoon eyes. I would not waste my money on this mascara again.
