I purchased HoMM IV for Mac a few years back and it has seemed to work fine.

I recently just purchased a MacBook Pro (OS X 10.7.2) - and it won't let me install the game on the new Mac. It says the "PowerPC" things are no longer supported.

There's gotta be a way around that, right? I literally know nothing about computers, but I just wanna get this game to work. Thanks for the help.

I am not an expert but I was able to run windows games on linux using WINE. You can download WINE for Mac, maybe thats somewhere you can start looking:

HoMM IV for Mac was created when Macintosh computers all still used IBM PowerPC processors. These days, Macs use Intel processors.

Since you said, "I literally know nothing about computers," I'll briefly explain what a "processor" is. Basically, it's your computer's brain. It's the part that reads all of the programming code and makes the instructions in the code happen. However, different processors are built differently. Most desktop and laptop computers are made with the same basic kind of processor these days. However, game consoles, phones, and other devices use different kinds of processors. Until seven or eight years ago, Macs also used a different kind of processor.

So is there a way around it? I don't know of a way to get old Mac/PowerPC games to run on current Macs. There might be some kind of workaround, but it's likely to be slow and unstable.

1. Emily - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with the Harvest witch costume. The quality of the materials used was subpar and the stitching was already coming apart when I received it. The fit was also off, with the dress being too tight in some areas and too loose in others. It just didn't look as flattering on me as it did in the picture. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this costume, especially considering the price I paid for it.

2. Ryan - 1 star - The Harvest witch costume was a complete letdown. The colors of the dress were dull and faded, nowhere near as vibrant as shown in the product photos. The hat that came with it was flimsy and had no shape to it. Additionally, the sizing was completely off, despite following the provided size chart. It was too short in the torso and the skirt was too long, making it look awkward. Save your money and look elsewhere for a better costume.

3. Ashley - 2 stars - I had high hopes for the Harvest witch costume, but it just didn't deliver. The fabric felt cheap and uncomfortable on the skin, and it didn't have the flowy, bewitching look I was expecting. The details on the dress were also poorly executed, with loose threads sticking out and the lace trimming already fraying. It's a shame because the concept of the costume is nice, but the execution falls short. I won't be wearing this to my Halloween party.
