In the distance a gallant knight was chasing a grimly giant with puissant valor, and in the other direction a grimly knight was chasing a gallant knight for all he was worth.
However, as they soon discover, the wishes only come true halfway. This leads to many comedic and unexpected outcomes for the children. Throughout the book, the siblings make several wishes, each one resulting in a hilarious and intricate situation.

I’ve decided to focus this review on my experience reading this book aloud to my kids. I think this is a great read aloud because of the fun adventures of the sibling protagonists and the way they interact with each other. This would also be a great novel for younger chapter book readers to read to themselves. The stories are easy to follow, and I think their vocabulary will expand as well. I hope you enjoy this book whether reading aloud, to yourself, or recommending it to a young reader.

Other wishes include wishing for a bag of money, only to receive half the amount they were hoping for, and wishing to be able to fly, but only being able to float a few feet off the ground.
