The Good Witch of the South: Cultivating Positivity and Confidence

By admin

The Good Witch of the South is a character in the classic novel "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" written by L. Frank Baum. She is one of the four witches in the Land of Oz and is known for her kind and benevolent nature. Unlike her counterparts, the Wicked Witch of the West, Wicked Witch of the East, and Wicked Witch of the North, the Good Witch of the South represents goodness and acts as a protector. The Good Witch of the South is introduced to the protagonist, Dorothy, after she lands in the Land of Oz. She tells Dorothy that the only way she can return home to Kansas is by following the Yellow Brick Road to the Emerald City, where the great Wizard of Oz resides.

Dorothy, however, does not want to live her life in the Emerald City, and the Scarecrow (because he has a brain) comes up with a plan to visit the good Witch of the South to see if she can help.
