Emily in Paris Season 3 hits major high notes for all of its characters when it comes to the fashion they wear—from vintage couture to contemporary designers –it’s a vibrant array of color, renowned talents and rule-bending styles that continue to define and reveal the evolution of each female actress in their roles. Costume designer Marylin Fitoussi worked for the first two seasons with legendary Patricia Field (who created iconic moments and influenced how we dressed when she costumed the Sex and The City HBO series, two SATC films and The Devil Wears Prada. Fitoussi takes on the third season herself with a refreshing approach and some lessons she might have learned from working with Field.

For example, the jewelry is equally important in building the characters, as were shoes and other accessories, but we are here to discuss the jewels.

It is interesting to note that Fitoussi worked with several intriguing independent designers, including Parisian-based Messika and Dinh Van.

I was personally thrilled that, like Field in Sex and The City, she also gave equal screen time to up & comers. Some of these designers included London-based Nadine Aysoy , Mumbai-bred, Antwerp-based jeweler Priyanka Mehta’s brand Nue Fine Jewellery and New York City-based Bleecker & Prince. These pieces were worn mainly by Lily Collins as Emily. Some of these designer’s jewels were also worn by Ashley Park as Mindy and a piece or two by Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu as Sylvie.

Now let’s take a look at the standout pieces by Nadine Aysoy and Nue Fine Jewellery, the layer-able and stackable pieces by Bleecker & Prince. Even the standout pieces are feminine and filled with charm –the type of jewelry you would imagine Emily as the lead character would wear, creating trends along the way.

Both Nadine Aysoy and Leehe Segal, owner and creative director of Bleecker & Prince, were approached after the wardrobe team spotted their jewelry at a trade show.

Catching up with Aysoy, she explains “It was during Couture in Las Vegas when Katerina Perez posted about our brand on her Instagram Account, and then the magic occurred. I immediately accepted the offer to work with them.” She continues, “We decided to meet in person with one of Futoussi’s team and let her choose the pieces that would match the specific outfits. But all was kept a secret about which episode the jewels would appear in until the season aired, except for my bracelet, which is on the marketing poster for the show.”

Segal had a similar experience working with the costume team. ”They were a dream to work with. They have a strong vision for each of the characters on the show, which is evident by how meticulously they assemble each outfit - down to every ring, earring, bracelet or necklace. They capture the unique personalities of all the female leads: Emily, Mindy, Camille and Sylvie, and their ensembles portray them perfectly. It was amazing to see it all come to life in Season 3.”

Sylvie wears a pinky ring in almost every episode—very chic and a trend growing stronger as the signet ring continues to evolve. She blends chunkier big jewelry with more personalized pieces like the pinky ring. In Episode 2, she wears a Bleecker & Prince marquise diamond pinky ring.

The other Bleecker & Prince Jewelry is worn by Emily (Lily Collins) throughout the episodes. This season, Emily’s fashion is louder, more colorful, and bolder in her ability to jump in and fix situations. It also seems to represent that she is more in tune with learning more about herself as the season progresses. Segal explains, “Her jewelry tends to be smaller, delicate, stackable and more individualized, also speaking to who her character is—discreet, charming and feminine with a quirky edge.”

Reviews for "Channel your inner princess with Emily's magical jewelry outfit"

1. Emma - 2/5 stars - I was really disappointed with "Emily dressed in magical jewelry outfit". The storyline was weak and the characters were one-dimensional. I was expecting a magical adventure, but it felt more like a shallow fairy tale. The writing style was also very elementary and lacked depth. Overall, I found it to be a forgettable and uninteresting read.
2. Michael - 1/5 stars - I couldn't get through more than a few chapters of "Emily dressed in magical jewelry outfit". The writing was incredibly dull and the plot seemed to go nowhere. The characters had no real development and it felt like a wasted opportunity for an engaging story. I really wanted to like it, but I found myself bored and uninterested. I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone looking for an exciting and well-written fantasy novel.
3. Sarah - 2/5 stars - "Emily dressed in magical jewelry outfit" didn't live up to the hype for me. The concept was interesting, but the execution fell flat. The pacing was off, with long stretches of inaction and sudden rushed events. The dialogue felt forced and unnatural, making it difficult to connect with the characters. I felt disconnected from the story and struggled to finish it. Overall, I was disappointed and wouldn't recommend it to others.
