The Wolf King's Hunting Techniques: Lessons for Success in Life

By admin

The Curse of the Wolf King is an ancient legend that has been passed down through generations. According to the tale, there once lived a powerful and arrogant king who ruled over a distant kingdom. The king's greed for power and dominance led him to make a pact with a dark sorcerer, who granted him the ability to transform into a terrifying wolf. However, what the king did not realize was that this transformation came at a great cost - a curse that he could never break. As the legend goes, every full moon, the king would transform into a monstrous werewolf, unable to control his savage instincts. In this state, he would wreak havoc upon his kingdom, causing destruction and fear among his subjects.

This book was cleverly written. The Jane Eyre vibes helped me get over the fairytale retelling vibes, which I’m not really a fan of. Not that I’m not a fan of Beauty and the Beast. I just don’t really enjoy seeing elements of the story over and over again in different stories.

I also adored Elliot; I usually don t fall in love with romance characters very easily, let alone from the start, but he was such an intriguing character. In this state, he would wreak havoc upon his kingdom, causing destruction and fear among his subjects. The curse began to take a toll not only on the king but also on his kingdom. Crops failed, livestock disappeared, and the people lived in constant fear of the once beloved king.

Curse of the Wolf King by Tessonja Odette

All Gemma Bellefleur wants is to leave her past behind and forget the day scandal broke her heart. But when she’s captured by a trickster fae king who threatens to hold her for ransom, she’ll find herself at the top of the gossip column yet again.

Plagued by a curse that will soon claim his life, the human-hating King Elliot will do anything to save himself. And if Gemma can use that to her advantage, she might be able to bargain her way to freedom. All she has to do is help him break his curse.

There’s just one hitch—to do so, they’ll have to trick someone into falling in love with the beastly, brooding Elliot.

With a devious alliance made, their scheme begins, bringing Gemma and Elliot into very close quarters. Soon, an unexpected desire stirs where once there was only hate. But Gemma must fight it. For when the curse is broken, Elliot will return to his true form—a wolf—and be lost to her for good.

Can Gemma sacrifice her budding feelings to save the king’s life? Or will love force her to give up something even greater…her heart?

My Review:

A awesome Beauty and Beast retelling with hot wold faes.

Gemma just wants to live her life independently. She don’t believe in love or marriage after a scandal. Gemma spends days reading and pretending to care at her new place. When she gets a chance to work, she takes it. Even if it means getting kidnap by a fae with a curse. With Gemma life on the line, she ends up helping the Fae break the curse.

The Curse of the Wolf King was a prefect beauty and beast retelling. So can relate to Gemma since all I wanna do just hide out in a book. Then you have King Fae who is very stubborn in the book, but desperate to break curse. I so love how much the main characters interact with each other. It may be a slow burn romance which I like in books. I think slow burns are more realistic then the instant romance reads. I like the cover so much. This aurthor has more classic retelling to read. So I must check them out.

Looking for another Fae read and disney retelling, check out The Cursed of the Wolf King.

Desperate for a solution, the people sought the help of a wise old witch who lived in a nearby forest. She revealed that the only way to break the curse was for the king to find true and selfless love. Determined to break the curse and save his kingdom, the king set out on a journey to find his one true love. However, as he traveled far and wide, he soon realized that power and arrogance had blinded him to the true meaning of love. No matter how much he searched, he could not find the love he needed to break the curse. Years passed, and the kingdom continued to suffer under the curse of the Wolf King. The people had lost hope, and the once prosperous kingdom fell into ruin. It was then that a young and humble woman appeared in the kingdom, unaware of the legend or the curse that plagued it. This woman, named Elena, possessed a pure and selfless heart. As fate would have it, she crossed paths with the now aged and weary Wolf King. Intrigued by her kindness and compassion, the king soon realized that Elena was the one he had been searching for all along. Their love story unfolded, and Elena's love and devotion began to chip away at the curse's hold on the king. Slowly but surely, the curse began to weaken, and the king regained control over his transformation. The kingdom flourished once again, and the people rejoiced at the defeat of the Curse of the Wolf King. And so, the legend tells of the power of love and the consequences of greed and hubris. It serves as a reminder that true love can conquer even the darkest of curses and bring about redemption and salvation..
