Dyna-Green acquires Turf Magic

Combined, the two companies have nearly 4,000 residential and commercial customers.

March 21, 2017

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Dyna-Green, a lawn care company, has announced that it has completed the acquisition of the Turf Magic Company. The joining of these two privately held professional lawn service companies will bring more resources, local experts, enhanced service and innovation to customers in Northeastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania.

From its base in Willoughby, Ohio on the east side of Cleveland, the combined company will provide service to nearly 4,000 residential and commercial customers in 13 Northeast Ohio counties and the border counties of western Pennsylvania from Erie to Pittsburgh with organic based lawn care services, and tree and shrub protection programs.

“We were excited at the beginning of the year when we won two large multi-stop commercial contracts that would expand our service footprint into Pennsylvania; but, of course, the real excitement is the addition of Turf Magic. We are both successful family owned and operated businesses -- taking care of our customers will remain our only priority,” said Chip Soltesz owner and president of Dyna-Green. “My friend Larry Morgan at Turf Magic decided to retire and I was his first choice in who to sell to -- he wanted to make sure that not only would his loyal customer base be taken care of, but that his employees would continue to be treated like family.”
