Curseforge Mac Plugins: Enhancing Your Modding Experience

By admin

Curse of Mac: A Never-Ending Love Affair For many, owning a Mac is like winning a lottery. A beautifully designed piece of technology that promises superior performance and seamless user experience. However, amidst all the praise and admiration, there lies a hidden curse that only Mac users truly understand. Welcome to the "Curse of Mac". The Curse of Mac is not your conventional curse. It's not a spell cast by a wicked witch, nor is it a mythical creature that haunts your dreams.

So far Overwolf has done a good job with the new CurseForge app. Especially if you were comfortable using Twitch. The install was easy and brought over game and addon settings. There are no radical UI changes other than the coming ad space. What changes have been introduced are improvements. That said more changes are expected, so we’ll have to wait and see what the future holds.

I simply think that the echo should occur at a different time frame, so that it lines up with the standard magicka sorcerer rotation in PvE better for example 10 seconds. Cons - Harder to time consistently - Doesn t line up with other DoTs in the standard Sorcerer rotation - Takes focus away from the fight - Makes rotation more boring.

Curse forve mac

It's not a spell cast by a wicked witch, nor is it a mythical creature that haunts your dreams. Instead, it's a predicament faced by Mac users on a daily basis, a paradox if you will. One might wonder, how can owning a Mac be a curse? After all, it's known for its sleek design, reliable operating system, and incredible hardware.

Why the new Haunting Curse (3.5 and 12 sec explosions) will be hard to use on consoles

Haunting Curse (Deadric Curse morph): This morph continues to explode twice per cast, but now explodes once after 3.5 seconds and again after an additional 8.5 seconds.

So its essentially a 12 second DoT with 2 ticks. If anyone could please explain to me how this simplifies the sorcerer rotation in PvE please? Is it more DPS? Hell yeah! Its great! But how do you keep track of a 8.5 second interval between the explosions without buff trackers? How does this Curse line up with other DoTs (Liquid Lightning and Elemental Blockade)?

Currently on live, we have 3 weaves in between each Curse reapplication: Liquid Lightning > Elemental Blockade > Curse > 3 weaves with Force Pulse and Frags > Curse > 1 more weave > restart. So its essentially 3 weaves in between each Curse. It was perfectly lined up, simple and effective. Frags take priority over Curse, so the rotation could switch a little if you had a Frag proc at certain times, but its nothing hard to keep track of. Its still 3 light attack + skill weaves in between each Curse. The priority is as follows: Liquid Lightning > Elemental Blockade > Frags > Curse > Force Pulse.
The rotation on live doesn't require any buff trackers or any visual cues, its just counting your skills, which becomes muscle memory.

While the Haunting Curse is a great idea, the 8.5 second interval between the explosions is hard to keep track of especially on console. The reapplication of Curse would have to happen after the second explosion which never occurs at the same points in your rotation, so basically without a buff tracker good luck with not overriding your Curse. One could argue that you could listen for the sound or watch for the second explosions, however, in a trial situation you often have around 3-4 Magicka Sorcerers which all use Curse, and on top of that you have the animations and mechanics making it virtually impossible to see or hear your own Curse. Not to mention that the rotation becomes a lot more boring in the sense where you spam Force Pulse more often, but it also requires too much management and attention taking away your focus on important mechanics. Basically, the current live rotation does require some getting used to, but to execute it flawlessly and consistently, its sufficient to count the skills you're casting! It then becomes muscle memory, completely removing the need to count the skill casts. Haunting Curse however, doesn't allow for this as the Curse will never fall in the same place with each rotation, thus making it much harder to focus on the fight and keep a perfect rotation.

Pros:
- More DPS
- More Sustain
- Great mechanic

Cons:
- Harder to time consistently
- Doesn't line up with other DoTs in the standard Sorcerer rotation
- Takes focus away from the fight
- Makes rotation more boring

@ZOS_RichLambert I really think that the rotation will be much harder on consoles as we don't have access to buff trackers. It will also be harder for newer players, even on PC, as they might not have a buff tracker add-on. But not a single rotation should require buff trackers in the first place to be executed flawlessly over a long fight. One could argue that we could stick to the old rotation, but why should we lose DPS simply because its too hard to time Haunting Curse consistently? I don't know what you will do with this feedback, as its pretty much set in stone that you guys want to have the echo (which is great!). I simply think that the echo should occur at a different time frame, so that it lines up with the standard magicka sorcerer rotation in PvE better (for example 10 seconds). I'm sure you can come up with a solution for this problem that console Sorcerer PvE players and some newer players on any platform will inevitably face.

Curse forve mac

The curse lies in the fact that once you've experienced the world of Mac, it's nearly impossible to go back. Mac users are spoiled by the seamless integration of hardware and software, the intuitive user interface, and the unparalleled attention to detail in every aspect of the operating system. They become accustomed to the efficiency and ease of use that Mac provides, making it hard to adapt to other platforms. The curse is further magnified by the exclusivity of Mac products. Mac users often find themselves in a sea of PC users, surrounded by a world that doesn't quite understand their devotion to their beloved machines. The struggle to find compatible software or the frustration of dealing with a PC can sometimes feel like a punishment. But even with its curse, Mac users wear it like a badge of honor. They embrace the challenges, the quirks, and the elevated standards that come with being a part of this exclusive club. They revel in the envy of PC users, who may never experience the same level of satisfaction or satisfaction that a Mac brings. So, is the Curse of Mac a blessing in disguise? Perhaps. It pushes Mac users to constantly strive for excellence, to seek out new ways to maximize their productivity, and to appreciate the finer details of technology. It's a curse that fuels innovation and sets Mac users apart from the rest. In the end, the Curse of Mac is a testament to the enduring power and influence Apple has over its users. It's a continuous love affair that has its challenges but ultimately leaves Mac users longing for more. So, if you find yourself falling victim to the Curse of Mac, know that you are not alone. Embrace it, for it is a curse worth having..
