Conan the Sorcerous Witch: A Force to be Reckoned With

Conan the sorcerous witch is a popular character in the fantasy genre. He is a fierce warrior who possesses both physical strength and magical abilities. Conan's power comes from his partnership with a powerful, otherworldly witch. Together, they navigate treacherous landscapes and face dangerous enemies. Bold and confident, Conan is a force to be reckoned with. His magical abilities set him apart from other warriors, giving him an edge in battle.

His magical abilities set him apart from other warriors, giving him an edge in battle. However, his alliance with the witch comes with a price. Conan must navigate a precarious balance between the witch's demands and his own desires.

The Historic District

I saw Ober51's post below mine on superficial repairs, but how do you handle something a little bit more complicated.
So I finally got the ceiling clean of 1970's spackle? stucco? (what do you call this abomination?). So now I am working on the plaster repair. Most of it is super easy just little hairline cracks but there are a few spots that are a bit beyond my previous experiences with plaster repair.

Can you please advise me how to proceed?

The trouble spots are predictably around the chimney. When I touch the ceiling very close to the chimney, it feel a little loose and the plaster of the ceiling that meets the wall there is cracked. Here's a photo:

This spot is really messy! It is the site of a really crappy repair. Part of the plaster wall juts out higher than the other

So since some of these spots are not attached to the lathe any longer, I guess I need to reattach them. What method do you guys recommend and do you have any tips to keep me from doing more damage. I'm a bit nervous about poking that corner of the ceiling and if I need to drill to attach the plaster, can that even be done around a chimney?

I read a bit about "Big Wally's Plaster Magic" and it seems like it might be a good solution for this job because time is a concern. I need to have the room done by the end of the month. Any thoughts on this?

(my amatuer advice, but I've done a fair amount of this) I would pull all the damaged areas out completely there, down to the lath. Plaster magic would probably be ok for it, but you might want to watch some of "See Jane Drill" videos on plaster, they're very helpful and excellent. Any area of a few square (2-3) feet is an easy repair, and the wall will be as good as new. You would need to buy a few tools and materials but anyone with plaster walls should have a trowel, hydrated lime and gypsum veneer handy

Don't be afraid to rip the stuff out. It was meant to be repaired this way in perpetuity.

NB: keep in mind the ceiling area around the chimney is harder to fix. You might want to get in the attic and see how the wall meets with the chimney from above, to make sure if you pull that stuff off there really is something behind it .

Then again, one of the nice things about plaster is that it looks good whether it's falling apart or in perfect shape

Yeah I have all the basic tools and supplies, I've used them for the previous repairs I've done. This job is just little bit more in depth than my previous repairs. Stuff I've done in the past has been pretty superficial, this seems more structural as the ceiling moves a little bit near where it meets the wall.

I'm wondering what people use to bind the loose-ish plaster to the lath, other than Big Wally's? I eventually need to do this to the whole house and that product seems really expensive. Do people use plaster weld and something else? Not sure what the traditional method is?

Conan the sorcerous witch

This constantly tests his character and presents interesting moral dilemmas. The concept of a warrior with magical abilities adds depth and complexity to Conan's character, making him a fascinating protagonist in the world of fantasy literature..

Reviews for "The Legacy of Conan the Sorcerous Witch: Imprinted in Shadows"

1. John - 2/5 - I was really disappointed with "Conan the sorcerous witch". The storyline felt disjointed and hard to follow, and the characters lacked depth. The action scenes were repetitive and lacked any real excitement. Overall, it felt like a mediocre attempt to cash in on the popularity of the original Conan series. I wouldn't recommend it to any fans of fantasy or adventure novels.
2. Lisa - 1/5 - "Conan the sorcerous witch" was a complete letdown. The writing was subpar, filled with cliches and predictable plot twists. The main character, Conan, was portrayed as a one-dimensional muscle-bound warrior with no real depth or complexity. The dialogue was cringe-worthy, and the attempts at humor fell flat. I struggled to finish this book and would not recommend it to anyone looking for a captivating fantasy read.
3. Mark - 2.5/5 - I had high hopes for "Conan the sorcerous witch", but it ultimately fell short. The pacing was off, with long stretches of slow development followed by rushed action scenes. The world-building also felt lacking - I never truly felt immersed in the fantasy realm. The writing itself was average, with no standout moments that grabbed my attention. While not the worst fantasy novel I've read, it certainly didn't live up to my expectations.
4. Laura - 2/5 - I found "Conan the sorcerous witch" to be a rather forgettable read. The characters were forgettable and lacked any real depth, making it hard to connect with them. The plot was predictable and offered no surprises. The dialogue was stilted and unengaging. Overall, it felt like a generic fantasy novel that didn't bring anything new or interesting to the table. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're a die-hard fan of the Conan series.
