Necromancy and Monster Hunting: The Best Magic for Battle

By admin

Magicians have long been using their magical powers to fight against monsters. Among the various types of magic, some have proven to be particularly effective in these battles. One of the most powerful types of magic in battling monsters is elemental magic. Elemental magic allows the magician to manipulate the natural elements such as fire, water, earth, and air. This can be highly effective against different types of monsters, as each element has its own strengths and weaknesses. For example, fire magic can be used to burn and weaken monsters made of ice or plants, while water magic can be used to drown or freeze monsters that are weak against water.

The versatility of elemental magic makes it an invaluable asset in any battle against monsters. Another type of magic that is highly effective against monsters is summoning magic.

Leadership Lessons from the wicked witch of the West

Angry soldiers closing in from the left. More angry soldiers rushing in from the right. This was it. Dorothy and the gang were trapped. Nowhere to run. And here comes the terrifying witch to settle the score. My 9 year old heart was pounding. Horrified. (My heart beats a little faster just thinking about it decades later.)

The witch sets Scarecrow on fire. Dorothy grabs a bucket of water and extinguishes the flames (there will never be a more appropriately placed full bucket of water for the rest of eternity). Dorothy saved Scarecrow but inadvertently killed the witch (no capital w for her by the way.) Who knew all it took was some water to destroy evil?!

I was only momentarily relieved as the smoke rose from the flattened cape and hat. Scarecrow was saved. but oh man. Now Dorothy is REALLY going to have to pay. The flying monkeys and soldiers just lost their leader - Dorothy is DEAD MEAT. (This was such a stressful movie for a kid.)

But then a miracle happened. The flying monkeys and soldiers were HAPPY! Not happy. ECSTATIC. "All hail Dorothy, the wicked witch is dead!"

Whoa, whoa, whoa. What's going on here? What just happened? Why are they all so happy that she's gone? If they're so happy she's gone, then why were they defending her and helping her? But there were so many of them and only 1 of her. This was not adding up.

They were more scared of her than I was.

Fear makes us do things we don't believe in. And other people doing those things alongside us make us accept that fear and behavior as normal. Time and routine compound that effect, and we don't even know it's happening anymore. fear becomes the baseline. Living from a place of fear will always put us in a position of servitude. Throw some water on that witch and cross over to the other side where freedom awaits.

There can be an army of thoughts (or flying monkeys) supporting an idea. That doesn't make it right or true. My wicked witch is self-doubt. What's yours?

Summoning magic allows the magician to summon creatures or beings from other realms or dimensions to aid them in battle. These summoned creatures can have various abilities and strengths, making them ideal allies in fighting against monsters. For example, a magician can summon a powerful creature with the ability to fly and strike from above, which can be useful in battling flying monsters. Summoning magic provides the magician with additional firepower and support, making it a great asset in monster battles. In addition to elemental and summoning magic, defensive magic is also crucial in battles against monsters. Defensive magic allows the magician to create shields and barriers to protect themselves and their allies from monster attacks. This can be particularly useful against monsters that have strong physical attacks or special abilities. The magician can create a shield to block or absorb the monster's attack, giving them and their allies time to counter-attack or retreat to safety. Defensive magic provides the necessary protection and ensures the safety of the magician and their team in monster battles. While there are various types of magic that can be effective in battling monsters, it is important for the magician to utilize their magic wisely and strategically. They must assess the weaknesses and strengths of the monsters they are facing and choose the appropriate type of magic to effectively defeat them. By harnessing the power of elemental, summoning, and defensive magic, magicians can become formidable opponents against even the most fearsome monsters..
