We finally got to spend time with the all-important yet back-burnered coven, which I suppose you could call a subplot; that of Deph finding her place as a witch. Especially since one neighbor is trying to seduce her, another neighbor is trying to steal her house out from under her, and a third neighbor is trying to get her kicked off the planet.
Each corner held a surprise, a secret waiting to be discovered. Some visitors claimed to have found hidden passageways that led to mystical gardens or hidden libraries filled with ancient texts. But as bewitching as the bungalow was, it had its dangers.
