Autumnal Equinox Magic The autumnal equinox, also known as Mabon, is a time of balance and harmony in nature. Hello, hello and welcome back to another semester at Orilium! Can you believe it’s already August and time to head back for the 2023 Autumn Equinox? I can’t! Seriously, I know I maybe say this every year but this time really, where has the year gone? Can’t lie though, 2023 has had some incredibly weird and yucky energy and I’m kind of keen to move forward and start a fresh year soon. 😂

On that note, let’s take a look at what’s on the class schedule for ✨ The Magical Readathon: Orilium Autumn Equinox 2023! ✨

Orilium Autumn Equinox Class Prompts + Possibility Pile

To quickly recap: Meeska is continuing their pursuit of the Illusionist Rogue calling and in the August semester, they’re attending the same three classes as the Spring semester: Art of Illusion, Psionics & Divination, and Shapeshifting. This time we need to achieve an ‘O’ in Shapeshifting, a ‘D’ in Art of Illusion, and an ‘O’ in Psionics & Divination.

The grading system is ‘O’ – Outstanding; ‘Q’ – Qualified; ‘D’ – Distinguished. Basically, to get a D, I have to get an O and a Q first, so I’ll need to read 5 books in total to pass the Autumn semester!

As always, I’m terrible with TBRs so I’m going with a possibility pile that will allow me some flexibility throughout the reading month.

We can take this opportunity to assess our own inner harmony and make any necessary adjustments. This could involve releasing any negativity or baggage we've been carrying and fostering a sense of peace and tranquility. Nature plays a significant role in autumnal equinox magic. Many people spend time outdoors, connecting with the earth and the changing landscape. The vibrant colors of the falling leaves, the crispness in the air, and the smell of autumn all contribute to the magical energy of the season. This is a perfect time to go for walks in nature, gather fallen leaves or acorns, and create altars or offerings to honor the earth. Additionally, the autumnal equinox is a time for divination and introspection. It is believed that the veil between the physical and spiritual worlds is thin during this time, making it easier to receive messages and insights. This is an ideal moment for practices such as tarot reading, meditation, or journaling to gain clarity and guidance. Fire is often used in rituals and ceremonies during the autumnal equinox. It represents transformation, warmth, and illumination. Many people gather around bonfires or light candles to honor and invoke the energy of the season. This can be a powerful way to release the past and welcome new beginnings. In conclusion, autumnal equinox magic is a time to celebrate balance, gratitude, and connection with nature. It offers an opportunity for us to find harmony within ourselves and in our lives. Reviews for "Harnessing the Magic of the Equinox: Manifesting Your Dreams"

1. Grace - 1 out of 5 stars - I was really disappointed with "Autumnal Equinox Magic". The storyline was extremely predictable and the characters felt one-dimensional. I couldn't connect with any of them and found myself not caring about their fates. The writing itself was also lackluster, with stilted dialogue and repetitive descriptions. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone looking for an engaging and well-written fantasy novel.
2. Michael - 2 out of 5 stars - I was intrigued by the premise of "Autumnal Equinox Magic", but unfortunately, the execution fell flat for me. The pacing was incredibly slow, and it took far too long for anything interesting to happen. The world-building felt incomplete, and I had a hard time picturing the setting in my mind. Additionally, the characters lacked depth, and their motivations were unclear. While there were some moments of potential, this book failed to deliver on its promises.
3. Sarah - 2 out of 5 stars - As an avid fantasy reader, I was excited to dive into "Autumnal Equinox Magic". However, I found myself struggling to stay engaged throughout the story. The plot meandered without a clear direction, and the lack of a strong central conflict made it difficult to invest in the narrative. The magic system was unoriginal and poorly explained, leaving me with more questions than answers. Overall, this book left me unsatisfied and longing for a more captivating fantasy read.
