1. Samantha - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with the Amulet series in sequence. I felt like the plot was confusing and all over the place. The characters were also underdeveloped and lacked depth. I couldn't connect with any of them, which made it hard for me to stay interested in the story. Overall, I found the series to be a letdown and wouldn't recommend it to others.
2. Michael - 1 star - I really don't understand the hype around the Amulet series in sequence. The storyline is predictable and lacks originality. It feels like a combination of elements from other fantasy stories thrown together without any real creativity. The artwork is beautiful, but that's about the only positive thing I can say about it. I found the characters to be one-dimensional and uninteresting, and the dialogue felt forced. I couldn't get into the series at all and won't be continuing with it.
