A reaper necklace is a necklace made by enchanting a hydrix necklace with Lvl-6 Enchant (requiring level 87 Magic) or an enchant onyx tablet. The reaper necklace can be decorated with a reaper ornament kit. This produces a reaper necklace (or), which adds +2 to its style bonuses.

It has a passive effect: all successful hits give a 0.1% hit chance boost in all styles for 54 seconds, stacking up to 30 times (a total 3% hit chance increase); however, taking the necklace off or switching it for another item will cause the buff to disappear. Missed hits do not count towards stacks.

The necklace degrades to a broken state after 100,000 hits in combat; as with all enchanted hydrix jewellery, it can be recharged by 50% by using a cut onyx on it (so a full recharge effectively costs 2,074,826 coins ).

Once equipped, this item becomes permanently untradeable.

If the necklace is lost in the Wilderness, the killer is rewarded with 750,000 coins, and the necklace is not reobtainable.

The reaper necklace can be combined with a amulet of souls and an alchemical hydrix to craft the Essence of Finality amulet, which has the highest style bonuses in the game and can store a special attack of any weapon within itself.

The Reaper necklace (or) is a reaper necklace decorated with the reaper ornament kit. It has the same prayer bonus and passive effect as a normal reaper necklace, but +2 increased style bonuses. The ornament kit can be removed at anytime, returning the kit and necklace.

Just recently started playing Runescape 3 over OSRS. Dungeoneering seems necessary for a lot of the good rewards. Just looking for some tips and how it works. Thanks

Charming imp, though, yeah I'd say that's virtually necessary. Giant pain in the ass to pick up all the charms without it.

Most of the scrolls are useful for extra profit. Plus recipes for extra damage. You're better off getting a high level via the summer event, then using treasure hunter keys for tokens. Although I've disliked dungeoneering since it was released so I am quite biased lol.

Amulet of souls is minimum 69 million GP, with associated repair costs. There are more important things you need to buy before you can drop that money on it, and in the meantime, yes, Split Dragontooth/Bonecrusher are necessary.

Even if you can't afford an amulet of souls, there's still amulet of fury. The point of bonecrusher and one of those necklaces is to bypass a consumable cost that's already trivial (super restores). There's really no point to using those necklaces with a bonecrusher, ever.

Because using something with stats means you kill faster, which ultimately means you net more money. And some of the harder hitting monsters you'll be training slayer against you'll really want the amulet of souls' effect.

Using consumables and the repair cost of degradable gear is central to combat in this game. You're not going to get very far if you try to avoid them.

But those mobs you wouldn't wear bonecrusher necklace combo against anyway so not a valid point
Maybe you're thinking of tasks only rather than getting 40 or 50k kills
I have 120 slayer on 4 or 5 accounts and the combo worked well for all of them at the right kills, the rewards shop is good and has at least 10 more than worthwhile items
