Reviews for "A Closer Look at the Catchy Chorus of Alvin and the Chipmunks' "Witch Doctor"

- John - 1 star
This song is absolutely terrible. The high-pitched chipmunk voices are like nails on a chalkboard and the repetitive lyrics just make it worse. I can't believe people actually enjoy listening to this. It's annoying and grating, and I couldn't hit the skip button fast enough when it came on. Definitely not my cup of tea.

I understand that "Alvin and the Chipmunks" is meant for children, but this song is just unbearable. The Chipmunks' voices are so exaggerated and annoying that I can't even understand what they're saying half the time. The repetition of the lyrics "I told the witch doctor I was in love with you" just gets old after the first couple of verses. I wouldn't recommend this song to anyone older than 10.

This song is a perfect example of what is wrong with children's music. The high-pitched voices of the Chipmunk characters are enough to give anyone a headache. The lyrics are mind-numbingly repetitive and don't offer any substance. It's a shame that this is what passes for entertainment in children's media. I would advise anyone to stay away from this song unless they want to torture their eardrums.
