"American Horror Story: Coven" Witches Will "Be Back" in Future Seasons, Per Ryan Murphy

By the power of all that is good and Supreme, Ryan Murphy has confirmed that American Horror Story fans haven't seen the last of the coven.

With production on AHS season 9 still in its early stages (we don't even know what the theme of the next season will be) and season 10 still a long way off, fans of the horror anthology series are likely chomping at the bit for any and all intel of what to expect. Thankfully, the normally tight-lipped Ryan revealed during his Walk of Fame ceremony on Tuesday that the AHS coven will be returning once again.

"The witches will be back," Ryan told Entertainment Tonight during an interview at the ceremony. "Not next season, though, but we have some really fun plans."

Of course, Ryan didn't elaborate on what those fun plans might be nor did he give any hints about which witches will be returning, but hey, this is more information than we've been given in the past about a season that has yet to take shape; we'll take what we can get. That said, the fact that the coven will be returning — even though we sadly have to wait until season 10 to see them — already opens up some interesting possibilities about what the theme of the forthcoming season could be. No matter what, if the witches are involved, then season 10 is gonna be one of the best because the coven makes everything better.

Apocalypse left the witches in an interesting place, with most of the coven intact and Mallory (played by Billie Lourd as the leader of the pack with Misty Day back from the dead, Queenie avoiding staying in the Hotel Cortez and lots of otherworldly forces eager to help Mallory in any way they can. In short, literally anything could happen to the coven in the future season and that is one heck of an exciting prospect.

Reviews for "Fiona Goode and the Antihero Archetype in AHS Coven"

1. Sarah - 2/5 - I was really excited to watch "Ahs witch coven" since I am a fan of the show, but this season left me disappointed. The storyline felt chaotic and confusing, jumping from one plot point to another without proper development. The characters lacked depth and it was hard to connect with any of them. Additionally, the supernatural elements that were introduced felt forced and overdone. Overall, it was a letdown and I hope the next season will be better.
2. Jonathan - 1/5 - "Ahs witch coven" was a complete disaster in my opinion. The plot made absolutely no sense, and it seemed like the writers were just throwing random ideas together without any cohesive vision. The acting was mediocre at best, with most of the cast overacting and delivering cringe-worthy performances. The attempts at horror and suspense fell flat, as there was no real tension built throughout the season. It's safe to say that this was one of the weakest seasons of "American Horror Story" and I would not recommend it to anyone.
3. Emily - 2/5 - As a fan of the "American Horror Story" series, I had high expectations for "Ahs witch coven", but it failed to live up to them. The storyline felt convoluted and poorly executed, with too many characters and subplots that didn't have enough time to develop. The dialogue was often cheesy and unrealistic, making it difficult to take the show seriously. While there were some standout performances, they were overshadowed by the overall lackluster nature of the season. It's a shame, because the concept had potential, but it fell flat in execution.
