If you are into thriller drama movies with a plot twist, this movie is for you. This movie is more of a sci-fi mixed with thriller type. I really loved this movie and I would definitely recommend it for anybody to watch it. It deserves more attention. Before you watch though BEWARE OF THE BLOOD & GORE.

The plot starts off very slow and realistic but has plot twists within the middle of the movie. After that happens, the plot picks up and that's what makes you more interested in what will happen next.

As for the soundtrack/OST, not the most memorable. It just was okay. The acting on another note was beautiful. I love Choi Woo Shik, Kim Dami, and Go Min Si in this movie. I really think the cast was well picked and the actors did an amazing job with the acting and portraying each of their characters.

I would rewatch this movie if I wanted to, and I am really hoping and excited if there is a PART 2 to this movie.

Yes, this what I was looking for: mysterious, thrilling and new flavour into Korean movies.

It's a mix of everything, but be warned it is bloody! When the movie started they all ready had me sucked into it. I had questions, was intrigued by the format and loved it all the way.
Why? It had serious dark vibes, I love movies that make you think and wonder, questioning the main leads every move. the scenery was well done, the build up was even better, but I do think they lost some of it during a too long scene in the movie which was quite bloody.
I do find that they have picked very well fitted actors for the roles, nobody seemed too out of place and I loved Kim Da Mi and this movie might be a step up for more roles for her, she did great!
What also helped the movie was the well fitted music. It was building the tension immensely!

Watch this: if you like thriller/action movie with a dark tone and a twist here and there.
Skip this: Only if you don't like blood, if not, just give it a try.

Reviews for "The impact of 'The Witch: Subversion' on the careers of the cast"

1. John - 2/5 stars - The Witch Subversion had all the potential to be a thrilling and unique action film, but it ultimately fell flat for me. The plot was convoluted and took too long to unfold, making it difficult to stay engaged throughout the movie. The action scenes were poorly executed and lacked intensity, leaving me feeling underwhelmed. Additionally, the characters lacked depth and development, making it hard to connect with them on any level. Overall, The Witch Subversion was a disappointment and I would not recommend it.
2. Sarah - 1/5 stars - I found The Witch Subversion to be a confusing and poorly written film. The storyline was disjointed and hard to follow, with major plot points that seemed random and unexplained. The acting was also subpar, with most of the characters delivering their lines in a bland and unconvincing manner. The action sequences were the only redeeming quality, but even those felt forced and out of place. Overall, The Witch Subversion failed to live up to its potential and left me feeling unsatisfied.
3. Mike - 2/5 stars - The Witch Subversion had an intriguing premise, but it failed to deliver a cohesive and engaging story. The pacing was slow and dragged on, making it hard to maintain interest throughout the film. The plot twists were predictable and lacked any real impact. Additionally, the character development was shallow and the dialogue felt forced and unnatural. While there were a few visually impressive moments, they were not enough to save this disappointing film. I would recommend giving The Witch Subversion a pass.
