"Oh oh oh it's magic" is a phrase often used to express wonder and amazement at something extraordinary or inexplicable. It encapsulates the feeling of surprise and awe when encountering something that challenges our understanding or expectations. Magic, in a literal sense, refers to the art of performing tricks or illusions that seem to defy the laws of nature. Magicians have delighted and intrigued people for centuries with their ability to manipulate objects, read minds, or make things disappear. However, beyond the realm of stage magic, the phrase "oh oh oh it's magic" can also be applied metaphorically to describe experiences that evoke a sense of wonder and enchantment. It can refer to those magical moments in life when everything seems perfect and extraordinary, when time stands still, and the world feels full of possibilities.

Nice witch korean drama

Lee Da-hae, Ryu Soo-young

The casting lineup for upcoming weekend drama Tale of a Good Witch is now complete: Lee Da-hae (Hotel King) and Ryu Soo-young (Father Is Strange) will play the main couple, and Ahn Woo-yeon (Age of Youth 2), Bae Soo-bin (My Heart Twinkle Twinkle), and Yoon Se-ah (Just Between Lovers, My Sassy Girl) have signed on as the supporting cast.

Tale of a Good Witch begins with a kind housewife who starts living a double life due to unavoidable circumstances. Her second identity is her twin sister, a stewardess who is known as “Cutting Witch” for her cold, nasty personality. Ryu Soo-young plays an intelligent and well-traveled pilot who lives a YOLO lifestyle, avoiding the possibility of a sad marriage. His life is upended when he meets Lee Da-hae’s character, and he begins to question his stance on marriage.

Despite his growing affection for Lee Da-hae, of course this love line will be complicated by the existence of her husband, played by Bae Soo-bin. He’s an unemployed bum with the gift of gab, who is excessively emotional and more invested in updating his social media than seeking employment.

The airline that Ryu Soo-young works for is Hangong, a family-run conglomerate. The director of Hangong will be played by Yoon Se-ah, the hotheaded eldest daughter of the CEO. Her brother (Hangong’s CEO’s youngest son) is a mischievous troublemaker, who will be played by Ahn Woo-yeon.

Double identities, chaebols, and no-good husbands—sounds like an awesome makjang already! Now that casting is finished, filming will begin soon for SBS weekender Tale of a Good Witch. It will premiere at the beginning of next March, following the end of currently airing Bravo My Life.

Seo Ye-ji in talks to lead new drama by ‘Nice Witch’ screenwriter

It’s Okay To Not Be Okay actress Seo Ye-ji is currently in talks to lead a new tvN drama called Eve’s Scandal (literal title).

In a statement to Munhwa Ilbo, tvN said that it had sent the script for Eve’s Scandal to Seo and was in the process of “coordinating our opinions”, as well as waiting for the actress’ response. Shortly after, Seo’s agency GOLDMEDALIST confirmed to MK Sports that she had been offered the review and was in the midst of reviewing it.

Eve’s Scandal, written by Yoon Young-mi of Nice Witch fame, will be a drama series that chronicles the fallout of a ₩2trillion (approximately £1.24billion) divorce lawsuit that grips the nation. Seo has reportedly been offered the role of Lee Ra-el, who will be at the centre of the divorce.

If Seo accepts, it’ll be her first role since she dropped out of the forthcoming OCN series Island. At the time, she withdrew from the role after being embroiled in a scandal over her alleged manipulation of former boyfriend and fellow actor Kim Jung-hyun in 2018. Seo and her agency however had denied the allegations.

Meanwhile, Arthdal Chronicles actor Park Byung-eun is in discussions to star opposite Seo as the CEO of a top corporate group in the financial world, per Star News. It would also be the actor’s first leading role in a TV series.

In other K-Drama news, a second season of the military-themed K-drama D.P. is reportedly in the works. This is according to lead actor Jung Hae-in, who claimed that the team behind the series have allegedly “put the wheels in motion” on an additional season of the series.

The 2018 season of Korean dramas features several dramas in which one actor plays two character roles.

More often than not the characters are related as in the Good Witch. In this drama, Lee Da Hae plays twin sisters, Cha Do Hee and Cha Sun Hee. The two identical twins are not only by divided by personalities but also by ambition. Cha Do Hee, scared by her family’s misfortune, becomes not only ambitious but also greedy.

Meanwhile her meeker twin, Sun Hee, finds herself continuously being taken advantage of by her husband and co-workers. When Da Hae becomes hospitalized, Sun Hee impersonates her so Da Hee won’t lose her job. In the process of impersonating Da Hae, Sun Hee learns how to stand up for herself and create a new life even as Da Hae learns her greed fails her.

Another doppelgänger, and entirely different, theme is Switch. In this drama, Jang Keun Suk plays the dual role of Baek Joon Su and Sa Do Chan. Although the two look identical, they are both unrelated and completely different in personality. Beak Joon Su graduated from a prestigious university and went on to become a Prosecutor. He absolutely believes in the strict letter of law and doing everything by the book. But his serious, somewhat introverted, personality prevents him from developing many personal relationships among his co-workers and occasionally hinders him from achieving his goal. Sa Do Chan, on the other hand, possesses an entirely different personality and mindset. He’s extroverted, playful, devious, and employs his genius level intelligence to outwit his opponents.

Although Do Chan studied to become a prosecutor, a personal event prevented him from taking the final exam. Instead he used his knowledge of the law to scam crooks and corrupt officials. When Baek Joon Su becomes seriously injured in a set-up auto accident, Prosecutor Oh Ha Ra deviously enlists Sa Do Chan to fill in for Baek Joon Su to solve a major drug, murder and graft case involving several government officials.

But a new double role theme comes with the drama Wok of Love. Lee Mi Sook plays the dual role of Jin Jung Hye, the privileged wife of a bank CEO charged with fraud and mother of the female lead, Dan Sae Woo (Jung Ryeo Won).

In addition, Lee plays an old woman peddler who watches over the life and doings of the third leading character, Doo Chil Seong, played by Jang Hyuk. Chil Seong, an ex-gang leader, befriends and becomes partners with Seo Poong in his restaurant start-up while helping Seo Poong thwart his nemeses.

What makes Lee Mi Sook’s dual role interesting is that, opposed to other dual character roles, her two characters in Wok of Love look and act nothing alike. Jin Jung Hye, while suddenly poor, remains a glamorous, beautiful woman while her unnamed older woman character is anything but glamorous.

The older woman’s face shows several age caused brown spots; her hair is grayed and in disarray; and not a few of her teeth are blacked out. She is, by all appearances, a total mess! Still, somehow, she commands respect from Chil Seong, his gang of thugs, and eventually Dan Sae Woo and Seo Poong.

Nevertheless, this old woman plays a pivotal role in bringing all three of the important characters together and helping them solve their most pressing, immediate problems. Only later in the drama is it revealed that she is the mother of Chil Seong.

Regardless, what makes Lee Mi Sook’s double character role in Wok of Love unique from all other doppelgänger roles this season is her playing two entirely different characters from highly divergent social classes and appearances. One from wealth while the other from apparent extreme poverty. Yet, Lee pulls off the dual roles with exceptional dexterity and believability .

Lee Min Sook’s resume spans almost four decades in both film and drama as she continues to work almost non-stop. Moreover, she’s won the MBC Drama Awards Best actress for Money Flower, the MBC Drama Awards Golden Actress for Miss Korea/Shining Romance/Rosy Lovers, and the KBS Drama Awards for You Are the Best.

It can refer to those magical moments in life when everything seems perfect and extraordinary, when time stands still, and the world feels full of possibilities. These magical moments can vary greatly from person to person. It could be watching a breathtaking sunset, witnessing a birth, or falling in love.

It could even be as simple as a serene walk in nature or an unexpected act of kindness. These moments remind us that there is more to life than what meets the eye and that we are connected to something greater than ourselves. Magic also holds a special place in the realm of storytelling and imagination. Fairy tales, fantasy novels, and movies often transport us to magical worlds filled with wizards, dragons, and enchanted objects. These stories allow us to temporarily escape reality and indulge in the wonder and excitement of the unknown. Moreover, "oh oh oh it's magic" can also be used in a figurative sense to describe the transformative power of art, music, or creativity. It represents the ability of these mediums to touch our hearts, evoke emotions, and transport us to different realms of consciousness. In conclusion, "oh oh oh it's magic" is a phrase that encapsulates the feelings of wonder, awe, and enchantment that certain experiences can evoke in us. Whether through stage magic, extraordinary moments in life, storytelling, or artistic expression, magic reminds us to embrace the mystery and beauty of the world around us..
