10 Types contains 5 strong, entertaining performance pieces for the working mentalist. The methods are fresh and have fooled rooms full of magicians. Included is Steve’s original Spanish Dictionary Book Test and his incredible, hands off breakthrough stage envelope test:
A large bowl of envelopes is on the stage. It could be 20, 50, even 500! A spectator takes as many as they like and distributes them around the room. Participants open the envelopes. Inside each one is a red, a yellow and a blue piece of paper. They shout out what is on the red piece – all except the chosen person who silently sends it to the performer. This is repeated for the yellow and blue pieces, proving that each one is (genuinely) different. The envelopes are unmarked, everything can be examined and the performer can be stood far away, but without any further process can reveal what the chosen person is thinking.
Also included is a strong five phase Q&A style routine. Participants write a truth and a lie on two pieces of paper, then seal them in envelopes. One of the participants collects in the envelopes and mixes them - the performer doesn't touch them. The participant chooses, opens and reads one, and the audience votes on which is the lie. The performer successfully divines who wrote the statements – from across the room - and which one is the lie. That's Phase One! You then start to divine the actual statements written, as well as identifying who thought of them. The envelopes and pieces of paper are not marked.
Close up routines include a pseudo psychometry test using a few ungimmicked pieces of paper and a pencil, and a hands off game of Cluedo.
This is a physical book with supporting videos and contains brand new, cutting edge mentalism using new principles.
This is an excellent piece of work. The routines are all fantastic and the methods taught in this can easily be utilised in creating customised effects. I haven’t come across these methods before and I can already see they’ll be a useful addition to my “toolbox” of principles. Solid and inspiring work throughout that culminates in one of the most layered, interesting and cleanest Q&A routines I’ve come across. Love it!

The flourishes I designed to be quick, beautiful moments in between the magic, that are very effective and dependable in professional everyday use as a real-world performer. (A professional magician has no use for "juggling", such as 30 second multiple packet cuts, spinning cards under water, etc. as they are truly not useful or applicable for the magi presenting an aura of elegant sleight-of-hand artistry.)

1. Emily - 2 stars - I was really excited when I signed up for the Magic Candle Company subscription box, but I ended up being extremely disappointed. The candles they sent each month were of very poor quality, with weak scents that barely filled the room. Some of them didn't even burn properly, with the wick barely staying lit for more than a few minutes. On top of that, the customer service was terrible. When I reached out to them to express my concerns, they were unresponsive and unwilling to help. I wouldn't recommend this subscription box to anyone.
2. John - 1 star - I had high hopes for the Magic Candle Company subscription box, especially considering the price I was paying each month. However, I found that the candles they sent were not worth the cost at all. The scents were overpowering and artificial, giving me headaches rather than creating a pleasant ambiance. The packaging was also lackluster, with candles arriving broken or with melted wax all over the inside of the box. It was a disappointment from start to finish, and I canceled my subscription after just a few months.
3. Samantha - 2 stars - The Magic Candle Company subscription box was a big letdown for me. After reading positive reviews, I had expected high-quality candles with unique scents. However, what I received was nothing more than mediocre candles with scents that were commonly found in any regular store. The candles also burned unevenly, leaving a lot of wasted wax. The monthly cost was simply not justified by the poor quality of the products. I would not recommend this subscription box to anyone seeking premium candles.
