By admin

Magic Broom is a unique item in the popular sandbox game, Terraria. It is an accessory that allows the player to fly and move quickly across the game world. The Magic Broom is obtainable during the Halloween event, which occurs annually in the game. To acquire the Magic Broom, players will need to navigate through the Pumpkin Moon event. During this event, the player will encounter enemy creatures such as Pumpkings and Mourning Wood, which drop Goodie Bags containing various Halloween-themed items. Once a player obtains the Magic Broom, they can equip it in their accessory slot to gain the ability to fly.

Оглавление руководства Описание Quick Note At The Beginning The Enemies The Big Bosses Комментарии Quick Note At The Beginning

Due to a medical condition I have (ADHD), there will be parts of this info page that will be comedy and others that are just emotionless information. There are also some inappropriate references that are said.

The Enemies

Scarecrow: The most common and least powerful enemy in the event. It jumps forward instead of just walking, unless it has legs. Like a muscular distrophy suffering vegetable. It has 10 variants:

Poltergeist: Not to be confused with the much stronger Polterghast, this thing is a ghosty whosty who likes to tear apart your scroty. With a chair, a table, and a waterbolt.

  • Mourning Wood: Along with the Master Bait, this thing is one of the reasons that Terraria is not a kids game. (More info in the bosses section)
  • Pumpking: A terrible portmanteau of pump and king, it is the devil in the form of a pump. It kills with it's waaaaaaater. (More info in the bosses section)
The Big Bosses
  • "Flaming Wood"
This attack has the boss fire a volley of fire towards the player. This volley has no gravity, and will inflict 100 damage (150 after it is below 25% health) in Classic, 200 damage (300 after it is below 25% health) in Expert, and 300 damage (450 after it is below 25% health) in Master.
  • "Greek Fire"
It's next attack will have it fire a large stream of gravity-affected fire, which will remain on the ground for some time. It does 80 damage (100 after it is below 25% health) in Classic, 160 damage (200 after it is below 25% health) in Expert, and 240 damage (300 after it is below 25% health) in Master.

Drops
The Mourning Wood will drop 1 gold coin (2 gold and 50 silver in Expert mode).
The Mourning Wood has 11 drops.
10 of these is affected by wave progression, 2 of them can drop in amounts, 1 of them is Expert mode + Master mode exclusive, 2 of them are only Master Mode exclusive.
Spooky Wood is dropped in amounts of 30-50 at a 100% chance, and is the only item not affected by wave progression.
During Wave 15, the Wood will have a 100% chance to drop it's trophy.
Items that drop with a 2-20% (5-20% in Expert mode) chance, depending on wave progression, and which 1 drop will cancel out the others:
Spooky Hook: A hook that is spooky. Wow.
Spooky Twig: A crafting material that is SOLELY used to craft Spooky Wings.
Stake Launcher: The only weapon dropped by the Wood, it does SO MUCH damage against a vampire. It drops with Stakes (which will be in an amount of 30-60).
Cursed Sapling: A pet. A really weird pet. It's probably a deformed Splinterling, based off of the Splinterling's Bestiary entry (see Bestiary entries below for more info).
Necromantic Scroll: An accessory that supports summoners. Weird.

Items that are Master Mode (and Expert Mode in the Mourning Wood's case) exclusive
Witch's Broom: This mount drops only in Expert Mode. For some reason, even though NO other event boss drops an Expert Mode exclusive item (for you smart ass people, Master Mode is included. Every item dropped in Expert can drop in Master). This item, like all items normally dropped in Classic during Expert mode, has a 5-20% chance to drop. But. why a Witch's Broom?
Hexxed Branch: Another mount, which follows the trend that most bosses follow with a Master mode exclusive item pet/mount. It drops with a 6.25-25% chance of dropping. Apparently a cursed branch from an even more cursed tree, I guess?
Mourning Wood Relic: Like all bosses in Master Mode, the Mourning Wood will drop it's relic. This time, though, it drops it with a 25-100% chance depending on wave progression.

The Pumpking
The Pumpking is the main boss of the Pumpkin Moon. Unlike most bosses in the game, instead of having different modes depending on their health or cycling through different attacks, he cycles through different modes. These are indicated by the appearance of his face (see Attack Modes a bit below for explicit information). The Pumpking begins to spawn at Wave 7.

Magical Broomstick

The Magical Broomstick is a Mount summoning item dropped from Pumpking during the Pumpkin Moon event. When used, it summons a Magic Broomstick Mount.

The Magic Broomstick can fly quickly in any direction and hover, but requires the arrow keys to be used to lift it off the ground. After 15 seconds of being constantly in the air, it will begin to descend automatically, and must land on the ground again to reset its flight time. It has a top speed of 82 miles per hour and negates fall damage.

Once a player obtains the Magic Broom, they can equip it in their accessory slot to gain the ability to fly. Using the Magic Broom, players can glide smoothly through the air and reach higher areas that would be otherwise inaccessible. It is a useful tool for exploring the game's vast landscapes and for evading enemies or obstacles.

Notes [ | ]

  • The Magical Broomstick does not increase the player's max height, allowing them to go through regular doors when mounted.

Aside from being a convenient means of transportation, the Magic Broom also has a unique visual effect. When using the broom, the player's character model will change, and they will appear to be riding on a broomstick, adding a touch of fantasy and magic to the game. The Magic Broom is just one of the many magical and fantastical items available in Terraria. The game features a wide variety of weapons, accessories, armor sets, and other mystical items that players can discover and utilize on their quest of adventure and exploration. Overall, the Magic Broom is a highly sought-after item in Terraria due to its ability to grant flight and its enchanting visual effect. It adds an exciting element of magic to the game, enhancing both the gameplay experience and the player's character..
