By admin

Ludwig Black Magic is a line of snare drums created by Ludwig Drums, a renowned manufacturer in the percussion industry. These snare drums are highly regarded for their versatile and powerful sound, making them a popular choice among drummers of various genres and styles. The Black Magic series combines the classic design and craftsmanship of Ludwig Drums with modern materials and technology to deliver exceptional performance. The drums are made from a seamless aluminum shell, which ensures maximum durability and superior resonance. This construction also allows for a wide tuning range, enabling drummers to achieve their desired tone with ease. The Black Magic snare drums are known for their deep, dark, and full-bodied sound.

Ludwig pioneered the black-nickel over brass shell concept in the early 1920's, setting a standard that all others would follow. Black Magic Snare Drums bring that signature sound and quality to a whole new playing spectrum, with four models to satisfy any playing situation.

I had the stock heads on it which are equivelant in weight to Remo Ambassadors and they seemed a little higher pitched than what I like so changed them to an Emperor snare on the resonant head and an Ambassador X on the batter side and I gotta say, perfect combination for this drum. This drum is the missing link to the black beauty. Why? I has money down on a black beauty. went in to finally get it. 6 1/2 x 14. thats when i saw the `13x7 magic. tuned it-played it . i fell for it hands down. that 7 deep is the missing link. its tight focused sensitive and has a dynamic tuning range. its a unique sound. side by side with the black beauty i chose ti right away. I played a few shows with it and I alway catch people comming up to the stage to check it out. I know why. its just in your face in a good good way. I was using a 14x6 aluminum tay with wood hoops and this thing sounds just as good and just a little bit better. the magic is brass but the 13 is crisp and the 7 depth growls. tips in my book. i paid 3 bills for it and i paid 800 for the taye and almost 6 for the black beauty. buy the black magic.

Reviews for "Black Magic Unleashed: Ludwig's Newest Innovations in Drum Design"

1. John - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with the Ludwig black magic. The construction felt flimsy and the sound quality was subpar. It just didn't have the punch and depth that I was expecting from a snare drum at this price point. I ended up returning it and opting for a different brand instead.
2. Emily - 1 star - I found the Ludwig black magic to be extremely overhyped. The tone was muddy and lacked clarity. The snare wires didn't respond well and caused a buzzing sound. The overall build quality was also questionable. I wouldn't recommend this drum to anyone looking for a reliable and high-quality snare drum.
3. Mike - 2 stars - The Ludwig black magic failed to live up to my expectations. I found the sound to be dull and lacking in dynamics. The hardware felt cheap and the drum head didn't stay in tune for long. Overall, it felt like a cheap knock-off of other high-end snare drums. I wouldn't recommend wasting your money on this one.
4. Sarah - 2 stars - I was unimpressed with the Ludwig black magic snare drum. The tone was lackluster and it didn't provide the powerful crack that I was looking for. The build quality was also questionable, as it felt flimsy and poorly constructed. I wouldn't recommend this drum to any serious drummer looking for a reliable and high-quality snare drum.
5. Alex - 1 star - The Ludwig black magic snare drum was a huge disappointment. The sound was flat and lacked any sort of character or depth. It felt like a cheaply made drum that was overpriced for what it offered. I would suggest looking elsewhere if you want a snare drum that delivers a powerful and clear sound.
