About Southwest Dance Company
Southwest Dance Company is the exclusive children’s creative, modern dance studio in St. George, UT since 1982. Our faculty members have many years of experience teaching modern dance. The focus of our dance studio is to instruct your dancer in children’s creative, modern dance. Our dance curriculum is created for age-appropriate dance instruction for each individual age group. It is a progressive technical experience for each individual. By the end of the year, you will see tremendous growth in your dancer and their technical abilities. Our annual dance concert in June is a wonderful setting for you to observe this development in your child’s movement.

Workshops and master classes are held throughout the weekend, allowing participants to refine their techniques, learn new styles, and be inspired by some of the industry's top professionals. Judges at Dance Magic St. George are experienced and well-respected individuals in the dance industry. They provide constructive feedback and critique to help dancers improve their skills and grow as performers. In addition to the competition and workshops, Dance Magic St. George also offers scholarship opportunities. Outstanding dancers have the chance to earn scholarships to further their education and pursue their dreams in dance. I went to see "Dance Magic St. George" with high expectations, but unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed. The choreography was sloppy and lacked creativity, making the entire performance dull and unimpressive. Additionally, the dancers seemed unenthusiastic and lacked synchronized movements, which further added to the overall disappointment of the show. I wouldn't recommend wasting your time or money on this poorly executed performance.
