The costume looked really old and worn out, and it didn't even look like a slugger. The design was confusing and it didn't match the team's branding at all. The mascot didn't engage with the crowd much either, just kind of walked around without any enthusiasm. Overall, it was a lackluster experience and I expected more from a professional sports team's mascot.
2. John - 2 stars - Corpus Christi Hooks Mascot Slugger just didn't do it for me. The mascot's movements seemed stiff and robotic, which made it look more like a person in a costume than an actual engaging character. Additionally, the character itself didn't have much personality or charm. It felt like a missed opportunity to create a memorable and entertaining mascot for the team. I would hope for some improvements in the future to make the mascot more enjoyable and lively.
