THE AMITYVILLE HORROR begins with a prologue about the first bloody murders. Holzer was a parapsychologist who invested the supposedly haunted house in Amityville in the 70s and went on to write the books Murder in Amityville which served as a source of inspiration for Amityville II The Possession , The Secret of Amityville , and yes, The Amityville Curse. These days it seems like every indie filmmaker in the world has made something with Amityville in the title, but the new film The Amityville Curse is based on the novel of the same title, which was written by Hans Holzer.

The website made it seem like we would have a stunning view of the ocean, but instead, all we got was a tiny porthole window that barely let in any light. It felt claustrophobic and definitely did not live up to our expectations. Additionally, the room was cramped and outdated, with old furniture and worn-out carpeting. Overall, I would not recommend paying extra for an ocean view room on this cruise ship.
