Jessica is most influenced by vintage picture books, travel posters, and folk art as well as numerous painters and printmakers.
Katy Flint is an author, editor, and musician, based in London. She studied violin at the University of Southampton, before moving into children's books. 1. Emily - 2 stars - I was really excited to read "Throne of Magidal Arcana" based on the rave reviews I had read, but I was ultimately disappointed. The pacing of the story was extremely slow, with far too much time spent on irrelevant details and world-building. I struggled to connect with the main characters, as they felt flat and lacking in depth. Additionally, the plot felt disjointed and confusing, with too many subplots and a lack of resolution. Overall, "Throne of Magidal Arcana" didn't live up to the hype for me.
