The pacing of the story was extremely slow, with far too much time spent on irrelevant details and world-building. I struggled to connect with the main characters, as they felt flat and lacking in depth. Additionally, the plot felt disjointed and confusing, with too many subplots and a lack of resolution. Overall, "Throne of Magidal Arcana" didn't live up to the hype for me.
2. Alex - 1 star - I can't understand why so many people enjoyed "Throne of Magidal Arcana". The writing style was pretentious and convoluted, making it difficult to follow the story. The world-building was excessive and overwhelming, taking away from the character development and overall plot. I found myself constantly flipping back to previous chapters to remind myself of what was happening, which took away from my enjoyment of the book. I wouldn't recommend "Throne of Magidal Arcana" to anyone looking for a coherent and engaging fantasy read.
3. Sarah - 3 stars - While "Throne of Magidal Arcana" had potential, I found the writing to be inconsistent and confusing. The author introduced interesting concepts and ideas, but failed to execute them properly.
