We haven't used foam or any other filling materials because the classic conical shape and two layers of cotton are enough for the hat to stand up straight. The brim of the hat has been interlined with stiff linen so that it holds the correct shape and doesn’t sag or drop. The hat is nice and tall, and sure is eye-catching and therefore treats-catching! If you run out of space in your bag, you can put a few on the brim as it is quite wide. Just be sure to keep your posture!
