Putt-Putt was at 22 and Columbus, as you suspected

Hi, there,

4. If memory serves, it was "green acres". many a happy afternoon spent there yesteryear. Do you know date of demise? I also have a vague memory of a movie theatre thereabouts, also gone.

5. I have several pix of 'magic carpet'. Just need to figure out how to post to the VT site.

hey! long time reader first time poster.

ok so i was talking to a friend who was a transplant to tucson in the 80's and we were talking about golf n stuff. and i could have sworn that it was actually called something else before it was golf n stuff.

so i also started talking about all the other mini golf places around town but i can't for the life of me remember their names.

SO, here's the challenge.

1. what (if any) was golf n stuffs previous name?

2. there was a mini golf at 22nd and columbus (you can still see the concrete playfields between the car wash and the ministries building across from golden corral) i believe the name may have been putt-putt golf? do you remember the name?

3. there was a mini golf course on alvernon on the plot where alvernon donuts is now. there are still 1 or 2 small buildings there from when it was mini golf. it's west across alvernon from the QT (the old drive in area) do you remember the name?

4. across from magic carpet golf there was another golf place, west of the original chuck e cheese. i think it had a dragon head as a logo. anybody remember that name? maybe where fudruckers is?

5. and of course the big question. anybody have any pictures of any of these places when they were open?

*phew* sorry if this has all been asked before. good luck and thanks :)

1. Sarah - 1 star - I was so disappointed with Magic Carpet Golf Photos. The photos were low-quality and poorly printed. They had no depth or vibrancy, and it felt like they were printed from a cheap home printer. The prices were also outrageous for such low-quality prints. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for professional or even decent-looking photos.
2. Mark - 2 stars - I had high hopes for Magic Carpet Golf Photos, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. The staff was rude and unhelpful, making the entire experience unpleasant. The selection of photos was also very limited, and the ones they did have were outdated and uninteresting. The prices were also quite steep for what they were offering. Overall, I found the whole experience underwhelming and would not waste my time or money there again.
3. Emily - 1 star - Magic Carpet Golf Photos was a total letdown. The quality of the prints was extremely poor, with pixelated and washed-out images. The colors were dull and lackluster, not at all what I was expecting. The customer service was also lacking, with the staff showing little interest in assisting customers. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for high-quality photos. Save your money and go elsewhere for better results.
4. John - 2 stars - I had a really disappointing experience with Magic Carpet Golf Photos. The photo selection was extremely limited, and the ones they did have were not unique or interesting. The printing quality was subpar, with the colors looking faded and the resolution being quite low. The prices were also higher than what I would expect for such mediocre prints. I would advise anyone looking for memorable and high-quality photos to look elsewhere. Magic Carpet Golf Photos fell short in every aspect for me.
5. Jennifer - 2 stars - I was not impressed with Magic Carpet Golf Photos. The staff seemed disinterested in helping customers and showed very little knowledge or expertise in photography. The photo selection was also lacking, and the ones they did have were not visually appealing or creatively shot. The prints themselves were of average quality, nothing special or memorable. Overall, it was a forgettable experience, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for unique or professional photos.
