The Curse that Haunts Derhuahua Breeders

By admin

The Curse of the Derhuahua Legend has it that many years ago, deep in the heart of Mexico, there existed a cursed species of dog known as the derhuahua. These creatures were a strange combination of a Chihuahua and a Dachshund, resulting in a peculiar and somewhat unsettling appearance. With their elongated bodies and tiny legs, derhuahuas were said to possess an eerie and supernatural aura. According to folklore, the derhuahuas were the result of a forbidden love affair between a Chihuahua and a Dachshund. It was believed that this unnatural union angered the gods, who decided to place a curse upon the offspring of such a union. As a result, derhuahuas were believed to bring misfortune and bad luck to anyone who owned or encountered them.

Colorado native that left the heart of the Rockies to pursue an acting career and study Shakespeare in Cedar City, Utah. It was there that Lucas realized his interest in comedy, directing, and improv. Spending 4 years rounding out his education he decided to take a break and move home for a bit where he got a job at a local news station. Being exposed to cameras and editing sparked his interest in creating his first short film Yard Sale which he grabbed a few friends, a camera, and filmed in his back yard.
A few years later the academic pursuits resumed at WSU in Ogden UT. There he finished his Acting/Directing degree, creating several spoof films for the theater department.

A year after graduating, Lucas led his team to victory in his second 24 hour film festival with Sociable + Polite. This lead to several more short films including Zombo, A Documented Incident (Winner best Mocumentary Salty Horror Film Festival) and Whip Brawler (Official Selection - Salt Lake Comedy Film Fest, Salt Lake Comic Con Film Festival 2014) His most recent fan film was recognized as a finalist at the Star Wars Fan Film competition in 3 categories.

Lucas currently resides in Salt Lake City.

Director Statement

"Curse" started out when a friend asked for some film ideas. " I want to make a cheesy creature horror film." he said. I shot back an idea about a guy who gets bitten by a cursed chihuahua and becomes a chiwerewolf. My friend replied. fun

No punctuation, no period, no question mark! "Fun, you!" I thought. This is a good idea! Sprinkle in some villainous cosplayers and we have ourselves a third act and boom - Film idea!

We geared up for production, the mask and creature FX were sorted out and paid for, we cast, we crewed, and 2 days before production. Covid. Thanks, March 2020. Fun you, too!

Disheartened and unsettled, we broke the news to the cast and crew and we all shelved the project, indefinitely. But fast forward to October 2020 and we were infected. with the virus. of film-making again! We worked on weekends, were cautious, masked up and such and wouldn't you know it, nobody was infected for a month and a half. We finished production unscathed. A week later, I got the virus and spent thanksgiving by my lonesome.

We are so proud to bring this production together for everyone. This cheesy horror comedy has splashes of "Dude, Where's my Car?" "Young Frankenstein," and Monty Python too.

Werehuahua will fit with most comedy festivals and will be a great ice breaker for anyone wanting to showcase some serious shit after our show.

Curse if the derhuahua

However, despite these warnings, it was believed that those who owned derhuahuas would still suffer from the impending disasters. The curse of the derhuahua also affected the physical health of these dogs. It was said that they had a predisposition to various medical conditions, including respiratory issues, skeletal deformities, and digestive problems. Additionally, it was believed that derhuahuas had a much shorter lifespan compared to other dog breeds, further adding to the sense of impending doom associated with them. Due to the curse, derhuahuas were often shunned and feared by the local population in Mexico. Many believed that coming into contact with these dogs would bring bad luck and misfortune upon themselves and their families. Some even went as far as to claim that the curse of the derhuahua had a ripple effect, affecting not only the owner but also their entire community. Despite the superstitions surrounding them, there were a few brave souls who dared to adopt derhuahuas. These individuals believed that the curse could be broken through love and compassion. They treated their derhuahuas with care and affection, hoping to dispel the negative energy surrounding these creatures. As time went on, the derhuahuas began to fade into obscurity. Whether it was due to the curse or other external factors, these unusual and cursed dogs became a rare sight. Today, the derhuahua is mostly regarded as a legend and a cautionary tale, serving as a reminder of the consequences of forbidden love and the power of superstition. In conclusion, the curse of the derhuahua is a fascinating legend that has captivated the imaginations of many. Whether or not one believes in the supernatural aspects of this tale, it serves as a reminder of the potency of folklore and the influence it can have on a culture..

Reviews for "The Derhuahua Curse: A Legacy of Suffering"

1. John Doe - 1 star
I found "Curse of the Derhuahua" to be utterly disappointing. The plot was convoluted and made no sense, jumping from one random event to another without any coherence. The characters were shallow and lacked depth, making it difficult to connect with any of them. Additionally, the humor fell flat, relying on tired clichés and cheap puns that failed to elicit even a chuckle. Overall, this movie was a complete waste of time and money.
2. Jane Smith - 2 stars
I had high hopes for "Curse of the Derhuahua" but was ultimately let down. The concept seemed promising, but the execution was lackluster. The pacing was off, with unnecessary filler scenes that dragged on and took away from the already weak storyline. Moreover, the special effects looked amateurish and unrealistic, further detracting from the overall viewing experience. While there were a few mildly amusing moments, they were far too few and fleeting to salvage this movie from mediocrity.
3. Michael Johnson - 1.5 stars
"Curse of the Derhuahua" left me bewildered and unimpressed. The acting was subpar, with wooden performances that failed to bring any believability to the characters. The dialogue felt forced and stilted, making it difficult to engage with the storyline. Additionally, the editing was sloppy, leading to disjointed scenes that lacked continuity. I would not recommend this film to anyone seeking quality entertainment. Save your money and look elsewhere for a more satisfying cinematic experience.
4. Sarah Thompson - 1 star
I cannot express how disappointed I was with "Curse of the Derhuahua." The plot was nonsensical, jumping from one poorly explained event to another without any logical progression. The characters were one-dimensional and uninteresting, making it impossible to care about their fate or any potential resolution. The attempts at humor were forced and fell flat, leaving me cringing rather than laughing. Overall, this movie was a waste of time and completely forgettable. I would strongly advise against wasting your time on this poorly executed film.
